Enhance pedestrian safety through streetscape improvements such as high visibility crosswalks, sidewalk improvements, and pedestrian crossing signals.

COMPLETED PROJECTS

Project 1: Bus Shelters

In a joint effort with the Memphis Area Transit Authority, Memphis 3.0 installed a new bus shelter with art from Rachel Briggs, solar lighting, and a bus schedule holder on Austin Peay. This new shelter will replace an older model that will be moved to a location on Yale.

Project 2: Light Pole Banners

Urban Art Commission has selected artist Rachel Briggs to design three banner visuals installed on MLGW light poles along Austin Peay Hwy.

Project 3: WIFI

Through collaboration efforts with Park Services, Memphis 3.0 funded the installation of Wifi at the Raleigh Community Center to use around the outside.
