Given the Memphis 3.0 workshops focus on equitable growth, documenting community input accurately matters. Extracting text from photos of meeting notes or flyers helps keep those records accessible. Any tool that turns images into editable text locally, like managing Texto invisible without server uploads, can support that transparency and reduce transcription barriers.
I’ve been trying to follow city planning stuff more lately but it always feels like I need a decoder ring. Ended up down a totally different rabbit hole last week and found Scritchy Scratchy—weirdly satisfying to scratch digital cards while half-watching a council stream.
Thanks for sharing this update on the Memphis 3.0 workshops. For a different kind of hands-on challenge, I’ve been enjoying Scale the Depths and its browser fishing progression.
I’m curious what kind of feedback they’ll get from these Memphis 3.0 workshops once people actually show up and start weighing in. The city planning side can get pretty dry, but I could see a Choicer Voicer-style “pick the best option” format making public input feel way more interactive.
